Seriously, thanks for asking, sasnak.

Team seems well-behaved, so I’m not hollering to be a housemother.
No Covid. Both vaccinations secured.
All is well, just quiet. Thanks for asking, My Sister.

Happy that we can still at least claim "as many Big 12 Championships as home losses under Self." Wasn't looking like this stat was going to survive this season for a while (including 30 minutes last night).
Hoping things get back to normal by next year and we can put 16,300 screaming fans back where they belong every game.

Both vaccines but I did get the Covid-19 -- not the virus, but the damn 19 pounds that comes from sitting on my lard butt this past year . . . . .

My better half and I are scheduled to receive our first doses at the end of March. Mr. LKF (my father) got both doses in Jan/Feb and we are planning to go see him in April in KC.

Been a very weird year. Lost my beloved Mom back in Basehor, KS, in August. Had traveled back there often to see her and help her out, but this time the cancer ran away and got into her hip and bones. It was a quick downhill from there. She was my rock, and truly my primary remaining reason for making the long trek back to KS (and hometown of KC) from VA. Don’t get me wrong, Lawrence and KU will still pull me back from time to time...but the annual or twice-annual visits are a thing of the past.
I’ve enjoyed watching the team bounce back and play for the pride of the Jersey these past few weeks. Next year we look to be very deep and experienced. Would sure love for Marcus to come back due to his D. Hoping we make some noise in KC, then win at least 2 games in the Dance. Beyond that, it’s house money this year.
Still stinging from COVID stealing what looked like a championship run last year.
I hope to post more in the future, though running a dynamic business takes up much of my time. That and raising the kids - one off to college now (Berklee College of Music in Boston), the other 16 and heading into his senior year in the fall. The latter is a MASSIVE Hawks fan, and we always bond over that and the red and gold of Arrowhead.
Wishing all of you good health and happiness. Go Hawks! Rock Chalk...
