The order of posts can be set by the user. Go your profile, then click edit. Then forum settings or something. You can change the order of posts, and the posts that show up on the 'recent' tab. Also enter your location, birthday, signature, etc. Hey I'm gonna allow users to upload avatars.

Right now you can change the view. When reading a topic, go to the bottom. You'll see links for the other two views. I would rather go with threaded. Second choice is indented. Last choice is flat, which unfortunately is the default now.

The other views are messing with comments on the site's regular content. Trying to get it fixed.

... for folks to get used to -- having to page down or scroll down to see the threaded posts continuing the discussion.

Will probably be a hiccup at first, but once they get sued to it... voila!
