I logged in earlier (can't see exactly when, but imagine less than an hour ago). Had a msg all written and when hit Submit, said session had timed out.. Logged back in - came here to write you this msg and my previous msg appeared, so cut and pasted it to bb section.
My question is - what is the time limit for sessions? And why such a short time?
Thanks.

Go to your profile, choose edit, then choose the forum settings. In there there is a button that sets time limits.

Dave can confirm this, but I believe that is where you choose the time limits. I think the shortest option, other than the default setting, is 4 hours.

Thanks Kong. I changed the "Select the time limit for pages" - hope that does it.

HE - same thing happened a while ago - I hit my browser back arrow and took me to where I was before started my post (which wasn't what I was hoping for). Then hit the ( arrow REPLY TOPIC) tab and took me to my written post. Submitted again and posted. Thanks again for the tip.
