Ambivalence about the boos and chants

of "Lock Him Up!"

For a moment, I felt sorry about what the recipient must have felt, and I was surprised by the feeling, fleeting though it was.

However, I do not agree with MSNBC commentators labeling it un-American. The recipient, whatever his title, deserves no respect, as he has shown no respect for opponents, those who disagree with him, true patriots, heroes, and immigrants, to name a few.

At last, the public had the opportunity to publicly show what they thought of him. I believe that's a good thing.

Should have added the Constitution to the list he does not respect.

Booing unpopular public figures is as American as apple pie. Through his loathsome private and business behaviors and his lawless actions while in the WH, he deserves whatever he gets.
