I wish

that lawmakers, government officials local, state, and national, news commentators, and anyone else commenting publicly about the latest mass shooting, would stop the rhetoric, "Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of those injured and killed," or some such meaningless gibberish. Those sentiments have long since lost their meaning.

Instead, I wish they all would say how sorry they are that the NRA and its money, the gun owners who hold fast to their right to own weapons designed to kill so they can play cops and robbers with a target, and the gun manufacturers whose profits are zealously protected, are all more important than American lives.

Sigh.....

And I wish that Planned Parenthood went out business. More American lives are lost in those facilities than deaths incurred by guns. Aren't those lives important also?

Stop blaming the instrument, blame the perpetrators. These are evil, demented and irrational individuals who obviously have severe mental health issues.

Although I disagree with you, I do respect your right to express your opinions.
