He was asked politely, for valid reasons, not to come to Pittsburgh. He came anyway. There were many who protested his presence. The Governor and the town's mayor decided not to visit with him.
I applaud those who protested and to the officials who took a stance against his being there. They are among the few, it seems, who have stood up to him directly. I believe it took courage.
