For liberals who want to know more about this amazing woman, or for conservs who want the facts--NOT alternative facts--about Planned Parenthood, I highly recommend her book, "Making Trouble."
She gives an interesting account of how her mother, Ann, entered into politics late in life, became Governor of Texas, rose above the prejudices of men in both parties, and struggled with a drinking problem; however, much of the book is about her own very early activism and her penchant for "making trouble" to advance just causes. (She has a great sense of humor, which she probably inherited from her mom.)
I wonder if she'll pay me for this review. (Or pay me to leave it all to experts.)
