Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his involvement with Russia. Consequently, the Mueller investigation has its first conviction. The current occupant of the White House can no longer contend (though he no doubt will) that the investigation is nothing but a witch-hunt, since, by definition, witch-hunts don't produce convictions. It is highly likely that Flynn has struck a plea deal and is now singing like a canary to the FBI and Mueller in order to minimize the time he will spend in a federal prison. This is just the beginning.
