That's a question I've seen several times on this board; it's my turn to ask it.

Now, I don't do Facebook because, for instance, if I tell my Great Aunt Gertrude in Duluth that I have a hangnail, in two days the entire population of Uzbekistan knows about it and can ask questions about it to me directly. But, if I did use Facebook, I would be very concerned, since the Justice Department now wants to see (and investigate ?) all FB posts which are anti-you know who. Where's the outrage?

Even if the next subject is a few weeks old, Dergropenfuhrer's saying that NFL players "cannot disrespect" our flag, anthem or country, calling them SOB's, and saying they should be fired or there should be a rule against the peaceful protests, really disturbs me. Never mind how often the players explain what the protests/demonstrations are really about, the creature stays on his twitter-pooping perch and assumes he has the power to annihilate the Constitution. Where's the outrage?

There's a significant portion of the country that just doesn't seem to be able to grasp what is going on with the NFL players' protest. It's not about disrespecting the flag. It's not about disrespecting veterans. It's about drawing attention to the lack of social justice in this country. I saw Bob Costas on CNN over the weekend and he made a very good point and a suggestion. He said that kneeling during the national anthem is only going to upset the people in this country that I just described: the folks who just don't get it. Costas suggested that the players stand during the anthem and then kneel as soon as the last note of the song has been played. He thought, and I agree, that this would bolster support for their protest and their cause.
