seem to be the main reason for secrecy in crafting a "new" health care bill. As Doc pointed out about the Drumpf, Republicans appear to want to do away with anything President Obama accomplished as well.

There is no substance to the claim of similar secrecy when the Democrats were working on the ACA. According to Snopes re aca versus ahca, the ACA was debated in 3 House committees and 2 Senate committees. Hours of bipartisan debate were held allowing for the introduction of amendments, and the bill was debated by the Senate 25 straight hours before it was passed.

The secrecy of the way this bill is being formed by the so-called president and "his" party is a first in American political history. Sneakiness, secrecy, alternative facts, and false news may be how this administration is characterized in years to come. Nixon and his cronies were amateurs in comparison, IMHO.

Donnie Moscow put his "spite and meanness" on display for all to see with his childish Twitter attack on the hosts of MSNBC's "Morning Joe." Continuing a very disturbing, but consistent pattern, he attacked a woman for her looks. Nothing about policy, just an ad hominem attack. The outrage is building and a significant amount of it is coming from members of the GOP. It was almost painful watch Sarah Huckleberry "defending" this indefensible behavior. I've repeatedly stated the opinion that he is unfit to be in the WH. This only strengthens my feelings about that opinion. Anybody out there want to defend YOUR president on this?
