I'm very excited about these marches that are being held all over the U.S.! Finally, I know about one in advance and am close enough to attend.
Michael Moore is urging everyone who wants to put pressure on the creep to do the right thing to join one of the many rallies.
He may be over the top in some areas, but I appreciate his getting behind this cause so enthusiastically. It helps me be more hopeful about the future.
Anyone else planning to participate?

I actually read about this yesterday. I don't know if you have, but I am including a copy of the link in case you would like to read. I definitely think you should march in this if it will help you and others feel better. Hopefully, it will not do more harm than good.

But the sad thing is that if it fizzles and fails, it'll make it harder, not easier, to fight genuine rights violations under the Trump presidency.
Everything else about the Women's March, however, is reaching a level of absurdity worthy of the man they are protesting. Start with the fact that they are billing this event as the voice of women when 42 percent of women (and 62 percent of non-college educated white women) actually voted for Trump.

One need only read the phrase "feminist windbags" in the sub-headline to know what this op-ed is about. I'm proud to call my self a "feminist," a genderless term that simply refers to people who believe women are entitled to the same rights and privileges that men have long possessed. If 42% of women voted for Drumpf, simple math tells me that 68% DIDN"T vote for him. So, yes, this IS an event for the voice of women -- and men. Only time will tell, but, in my judgement, the event will "fizzle and fail" in the eyes of conservatives regardless of the turnout.

Apparently I can't do simple math! 58% of women didn't vote for the cretin.
