Interestingly, supporters on neither vowed before the election to not accept the results. The only person to publicly hint that this might be a possibility was Don the Con himself.

How soon they forget!
By the way, anyone interested in Trump's comments after Obama won in 2012 might want to look them up.

you see many people (I would bet even you) ridiculed Trump for his stance regarding accepting the election results. Specially since they thought they had the election in the bag. When it all went south, suddenly they don't want to accept it.
How quickly they forget indeed murphyslaw!
I find these people protesting a bit humorous as the result desired is what?
I assume that it is a grieving process. You know one of the stages anger.
I found it as odd and silly as when people were so upset that Obama won. It is pointless. Everyone gets it. The losing side is upset. But in the end the system did what it was supposed to do. It elected one of the candidates and the story is over. Gripe and complain all you want, but Trump is the next President. As hideous as that is.

Biden memes and they are a riot as well.
Some of them have me literally laughing out loud.

I shouldn't also have to "explain the obvious" that not accepting the outcome and protesting the outcome are not necessarily the same thing. I accept the outcome: Drumpf won the electoral college. However, I may well protest the election of an unfit and unqualified candidate.

the outcome no matter who won.
Feel free to put in your nope, assume a counter of yep, and back and forth forever. Better yet, let's just assume that has taken place and move on.
Edit: Very strange, this should be under Doc's last reply, but keeps winding up here. Oh well.
