Where are they when we (Democrats) need them?

Molly Ivins, Ann Richards, and even George Carlin; I miss the welcome relief of their humor and satire. With the material we currently have, they would have a continuous field day.

I like Jennifer Granholm, but since she is working on Hillary's campaign, she isn't in the public eye.

Can my fellow Liberals think of anyone who can compare with those I've listed?

Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Keith Olbermann come to mind.

What is Jon Stewart doing these days? I was sorry that he left his show.

Jon and his wife purchased a large farm in NJ and have opened it as a refuge for abandoned animals. I can't say enough good about that. I miss his humor and straight forward talk! I do like his replacement too.

What a wonderful thing to do! It takes courage and dedication to take in abandoned animals. Good for Jon and his wife.
