Have you seen the "mini-college" they do in the summer? Sometimes some interesting stuff.
My science credit for the CLAS was physcial geography in Lindley. Taught by an expert in dirt. I think we had to learn 14 different types. Still to this day, I can recognize dirt when I see it on the kitchen floor.

A few years back KU called me looking for a donation. So the young woman was chatting me up, and she noticed that I majored in English. She asked if that has been useful for me in my career. I said, yes, I speak it almost every day.
