Tips for both table creators and table readers.
READERS FIRST
(Really helpful tip, especially for mobile device users)
When a table has been posted as an Image (i.e. not just keyed in by the poster), you can click on the table to open it in a pop-up window. In that window, you can expand the image to make it easier to read the table. Go to one of CorpusJayhawk's posts (such as this one here ) to try it out. Sooo much nicer than trying to read wrap-around text tables!
FOR TABLE CREATORS
(To simplify posting tables and making them easier for users to read)
1. Use a screen capture tool to snip your table, then save it as a JPEG.
2. If you do not have your own website, upload the file to an image sharing site (I use imgur.com). From there you can use the RCB's Image tool to insert a link to the image file for your table into your post. You can ADJUST THE IMAGE SIZE when inserting your image by keying in the desired SIZE value in the IMAGE TOOL panel when you create the link. Default value is 400. If you do NOT specify a value when creating the link, you will not be able to adjust the size later unless you know the control code, or choose to edit your post to delete, then reinsert the image with the desired size value.

I use a Windows 10 pc. It has a program called "snipping tool" which you can easily find by pressing the Start button and then typing the words snipping tool in the search window at the bottom left hand corner of your screen.
If you use a Mac just hold down the Command, Shift and 4 keys, then select the portion of the screen you want to capture.
Apple has an iPhone/iPad app available called Snip.
Snipping tool and similar apps exist for Android phones and tablets. Depending on the manufacturer and how old your device is, it may come with your device or you may need to download an app.
