What can you say?
The defense did create some turnovers, but they still gave up big play after big play with the middle of the field open seemingly when ever they wanted. Slipping back to missed tackles where we hit the guy, but don’t wrap him up.
Offense at times looked good. Daniels still seems to be pressing. Not certain he will return to form or not at this point. He used to make quick decisions and put a lot of short passes together that opened up longer plays. Now it seems he is looking for big plays more often and not taking what the defense is giving him. Maybe I am being too critical of him. The play calling and lack of multiple motions on offense isn’t helping him much.
Speaking of play calling. We once again came to a critical point in the 4th quarter where we needed a couple of first downs and the play calling was horrendous.
KU has a tough schedule, so they are going to need to turn around our fourth quarter woes.
