Now that the college football season has officially wrapped up, here are some positives and negatives to takeaway from the 2021
Positives
  • +2 wins vs 0 vs 2020. Win @ Texas, yay!
  • KU scoring improved by 5.2 pts/gm. Opponents' scoring decreased by 4.1/gm
  • KU yardage increased by 65.2 yards/game.
  • Opponents total tackles decreased by 5.0. Also, opponent solo tackles decreased 4.9.
Negative
  • Opponents yards increased by 27.6 yards/game.
  • KU tackle for loss decreased 1.1/game.

Looking ahead, KU has made some waves in the transfer portal and currently ranks 5th in the country with transfer portal signees.

I only saw positives.

1. Stability and professionalism from the coaching staff - finally.
2. Signs of improved recruiting and new additions from the transfer portal.

We have been SOOOO bad overall for SOOOOO many years, it’s hard to suggest anything this year was worse than any prior years.

AZhawk87, I have been tracking stats across different defensive and offensive categories and based that post on some I picked to highlight.

Here's the full set of stats here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CxybHjOn...10g/edit?usp=sharing

I'm very optimistic about where the team is heading and really think we'll see improvements in a lot of areas. Please let me know if you have any questions about the charts...
