KU football's season came to a dud of an end with the last game against Baylor with a 6-61 loss. My grade for that game for the team and coaches is incomplete/no pass. The air seemed to just go out of the sails of the Jayhawks somewhere in the first quarter and Baylor never let up.
For the overall season grade, I'll point to Matt Tait's optimistic and pessimistic takes on the season. The highs were the wins against Boston College and Texas Tech, the sell out at Memorial Stadium against KState, and the game at Texas. The lows were the loss against KState, Baylor, and Coastal Carolina.

Looking to next season, KU's recruiting class is currently ranked in the top 40 nationally and top half of the Big 12. Coach Bowen left for the North Texas DC position, and Strength and Conditioning coach Zac Woodfin left for Missouri. So, look for movement in the staff and more to come by February signing period.
