Anticipation late February 2025

Yes, I could be writing about our hopes that the guys are finally figuring it out to end the regular season and roll into the post-season all cylinders - even the ones subbing in - fully firing and in sync.

But this is actually about looking ahead to AY2025-26 and maybe the best recruit in Bill Self's career -- and maybe the best recruit in Kansas history after Mr. NBA record book himself, The Big Dipper, Wilt "the Stilt" Chamberlain*...
at least if you want to believe the guy that coached LeBron James in high school.

Regarding Zach Clemence -
JayhawkSlant's Shay Wildebore told me earlier this week that he expects new KU graduate Zach, who already has one year of eligibility left thanks to the COVID-19 exception, to apply for a medical redshirt and then take his remaining two years of eligibility somewhere he can get some PT along with his graduate degree. If that happens and Coit does return (and I hope he does, he's a solid role player that can hit from 3), then Self still has at least 4 openings left for AY2025-26 before allowing for other gains or losses.
