The drubbing of OKSt shows this team is just not mentally strong. They are great when things are going great but when things start going bad they really let it snowball.

Here's hoping HCBS threw the switch and the team is coiled and ready to strike hereafter.
Doubt it, but I'm hoping . . .

Agreed. Blowouts generally aren't really great indicators of how good the winning team is or how bad the losing team is.
Tomorrow's game at Colorado is far, far, far from a sure thing. If they can win there, it MIGHT be an indicator that yesterday wasn't just a much more talented group of individuals smacking a much less talented group in an extremely favorable envioronment.
And then we have the top 3 teams in the league to wrap up the season. I'd be interested to see the Vegas odds fo KU pulling off a trifecta there, but I'm sure you'd get a huge payout of it happens.
While I'm hopeful that somehow KU can magically "flip the switch" and somehow get all the peices working properly together at the end of the season, hope isn't a plan, and reality indicates that we're probably not going to have much to celebrate in the next month.
