The first half of the first half was awful in every way, but the rest of the game made me hopeful for the first time in a while.
KJ is still out, Hunter wasn't getting much done, but Badunga, Shak and even Storr got things going. That is absolutely huge. Badunga has been showing his skills for a while now, but he's improvnig every time out. Shak's light switched on a few games ago but is burning a little more steadily now. But the big news (and big hope) is Storr. Early he looked as terrible as anybody else, but when he got the steal and took it the length of the court, it was like it energized him. He turned it WAY up on defense which helped the dominos in the other parts of his game start to fall.
If KJ can get heatlhy, it looks like we might (still hopeful here, need to prove it) that we might end up with the best kind of "depth" that you can ask for: a cast of several people who can step up when one of the "stars" isn't as prodcutive and can fill the gaps.
Houston will be a titanic challenge, but again, I hope our guys look at as an opportunity to put themselves back in the spotlight nationally.
Rock Chalk.
