As with previous years, the short leash on transfers works with some, and not with others.

Self is being very stubborn this year with his "3". There are match-ups where DaJuan, KJ and Hunter are only going to provide D and rebounds and minimal offense. It's time to give more of the players (like he did at the beginning of the season) more playing time to get a rhythm with his system. Practice is one thing - game time play and decision making is only going to come from game-time play.

Burn in down and rebuild, Hunter’ Dickinson limitations and lack of effort need to go. The inability to snag the rebound after ISU missed 2FT’s was inexcusable.

We're clearly a 2nd tier team in the conference. Rather than coming in an having expecations of winning, we're going to have to hope that the other teams help us out by screwing up. In other/better news, the winter has been plenty cold with enough show out here in the east to give me good ski days on the weekends.

It's really odd to me. At the beginning of the season and some of those wins, Duke, MSU for instance, I felt really good. Then we lose the two in a row and I've not felt the same. That said, I don't know that any of us expected a national championship in 2022. I sure didn't. I did NOT think we had the talent to do so. I say we just hold on for the ride and see how things work out. UCONN lost 6 of 8 in a stretch and were basically written off and look what they did. I think anything is possible. This team has talent. We have height, we can shoot threes (sometimes anyway), we are solid FT shooting team when we get there and we can play very good defense at times. All they have to do is put it all together at the right time. It's better to stay positive than to be negative.

NotO how the mighty have fallen, a 2nd tier team in the conference, that should not be acceptable to anyone associated w/ the program and especially the fans. To think the likes of ISU fielding a better team than KU is tough. I know Roy had a few teams late 90’s early 00’s that had rough regular season but then he landed the class with Hinrich, NC, Gooden and the in 2002 Miles, Langford really rounded out that team. IiRC That was the team that went 18-0 in league play. Can’t believe Self/Staff have put together , thus far, another flawed roster.
