KU led by 1 at the end of Q1, then TCU hit a couple of 3s to jump out to the lead to start Q2 and entered the halftime up 6. Our gals played them even up the second half, but could never get it closer than 2 or 3 after that. The final margin was extended to 7 as KU had to foul and hope TCU missed their FTs (TCU didn't).
TCU C Sedona Prince played an All American caliber game today (30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and at least 3 blocks) as she seldom missed from the field, whether in close or from the top of the key. Prince simply put just dominated the paint on both ends of the court.
Tough one to lose in AFH after playing so well against the top ranked team in the Big 12 and looking so good doing it.
KUWBB is now 11-4, 1-3 Big 12.
