I said this last year and I was hoping it would change/get worked on. Hunter Dickinson is soft. Against small or mediocre talent he can dominate. Against decent or good talent, he can get some points, but never ever gets his man in foul trouble. As such, other teams really don;t have to adjust in the middle as they can pretty much guarantee a full game from their bigs. Hunter does not initiate contact and is just soft as butter on a warm summer day.
Zeke is aggressive and draws the contact that no one else seems to want. And he can finish and hit free throws. Looking good and plays like the rest should be playing.
KJ what the heck has happened to the athletic aggressive player you were. No rebounds to speak of, no athleticism above the rim anymore, and not much hustle overall.
Harris is as Harris does. If he could finish more at the rim with contact that would be a good thing, but he seldom does. Shows flashes of aggression, but nothing consistent
Overall we are just a very soft team that was supposed to have added scoring ability, but it is only seen in fits and starts and nothing consistent that would deformed any team to change their game plan.
Budinga brings energy and athleticism, but is prone to making mistakes. Still should probably develop him more in game time and practice as I think he can shine.
Need some of the other so call sought after transfers to step it up!
Did I mention we are soft? That has to kill Self as he used to pride himself on having tough teams.
Sigh
