Rankings are a joke...

I'm as frustrated as the next poster on this board about KU's performance the last two games but I don't get the rankings in the least. How does Auburn lose to a team KU beat and not drop in the rankings. How does Duke with two losses jump five spots...it's all bogus. I know it doesn't matter. The end is all about the National Championship BUT to me, this is just another example of the bias that exists. Or least in my opinion. Again, I'm not saying KU doesn't deserve to be #9 currently. What I am saying is it seems like the pollsters do anything and everything to keep certain teams high. Maybe I'm sensitive. My wife tells me I am all the time. HA

Anyway, hopefully the Hawks get things straightened out and start meeting our expectations...

Agreed, which is why I said I it's not that I don't think KU deserves to be ranked #9. My gripe is that Duke loses twice and somehow magically gets bumped up to #5, Auburn loses and doesn't drop at all. It all makes no sense to me. Some might say "well Auburn lost to Duke" while KU lost to two unranked teams. Fair enough, but how does a loss not cause you to lose a spot or two at least? Anyway, it's not worth me getting upset. It's more just venting about the bias I believe exists.

Simple, don’t lose. In particular not do not lose to unranked teams, especially pond scum that is Misery.

Frankly, losing at Mizery should preclude us from making the tournament this year. Boot us out of the bracket entirely and make us play our way back in. I'm 100% not kidding. We shouldn't even be playing those losers, much less losing like that to them.
