Hunter rant

The dude is big...why does he almost always try tio finesse a layup when he's clearly close enough to dunk the darn thing. He missed two opportunities for an "and one" because he failed to make the layup. Had he gone strong to the rim I'm pretty sure he'd have made both. HCBS should show him film of Flory or Doke because they go/went strong to the rim EVERY TIME.

#Sigh. I make this rant frequently, but had hoped that over the off season HCBS would have corrected that.

PS: I just realized that Shakeel Moore didn't play although all the reporting said he was practicing at full strength. Curious why...

Agreed. Hoping he's just getting back into game shape coming off the foot injury. Last year he was definitely behind both Edy and Clingan in terms of best big men out there. With another year under his belt there really isn't an excuse for him NOT to have progressed. Hope that's the case, but he didn't show it vs. Howard.

It's interesting watching the differences in the game when Flo is in instead of Hunter. The game slows quite a bit with Hunter and he is generally kinda lackadaisical on the defensive end . With Flo, he is explosive at both ends and the game speeds up considerably. I mean they are lightning fast when he is out there. I hope we can keep him because we pick up with him what we lost with Udeh.
