2025 5* PG Darius Acuff has dropped UK from his short list, KU looks to be in lead (Self and especially Townsend connections).

Also word is that 2025 5* SG Darryn Peterson is favoring KU. Reportedly has said "Kansas is the best place for me.”

With Acuff’s great relationship with Coach Townsend and Peterson looking at KU, could Self reel in the best freshman class in KU history?

BTW, HCBS enjoyed breakfast on the patio at Milton’s Cafe this morning in the company of a young man and woman I did not recognize. He saw I recognized him and greeted me “Good morning, sir” (man, I’m getting old!) as I passed, and I, of course, returned the salutation on my way to the table where Mrs HE and her Mama Lala were waiting for me.

He is really looking good!
