Another L- Sadly no surprise

KU 2-6 on the road, most Big 12 losses under HCBS. Disappointing season, it’s a sad day when KU losing is not a surprise.

yup, all that is really left is the hope they can beat K-State. Certainly not a given with this team. Tried hard today, but looked slower and less athletic than Baylor. Don't win the rebounding battle anymore, and can't get a stop when they need to. Oh, and yes, there's this issue about 3 pointers...can't shoot 'em, can't guard 'em. tough season.

HCBS owns this. Flawed roster construction. Sad day when we “hope to beat ksuck at AFH on senior night”.

12-6 in B12, no home losses, but another butt whupping in the NCAAT

2020-2021 Covid year bur total butt kicking at home to UT only to be topped by being demolished by USC in the tourney

2023-2024…. 21-8, most Conf losses under HCBS, and the season isn’t done yet. Stupid home loss to BYU, burr kicked by mediocre TTU team

HCBS is paid handsomely to prevent years like the above. To watch Scott freaking Drew have a better team than Ku, something is amiss. Hopefully with NCAA stuff settled and scholarship limits for only 1 more year this will pass. But man, it’s sad when a KU loss is not a surprise. The worst part is this team isn’t fun to watch not like they are putting up 100 pts like UK and no D, no they are offensively challenged. Blow it up.

Last season was looking promising until HCBS got sick. Two disappointing Marches in a row seemed a lot. I am convinced HCBS is gearing up to keep it from being three.

I admit that I am a spoiled KU fan given that Top 4 seed, Big 12 championship (regular and/or tourney) is the standard for KU hoops. HCBS no doubt will, as you say, gear up.

The disappointment is this team has 7-3 record against top 25 and somehow 5 losses against teams going nowhere. BYU loss was mind numbing.

I do not think this team goes far this year, no Chiefs run, but I will be very happy to be proven wrong. But for the love of all that is good and decent, KU needs to beat the kitties at home on Senior night.

All I'd say is that every team in college has down years. But there down years mean an 8 or worse seed or even missing the tourney. KU's down years = a top 4 seed in the tourney. Maybe an early exit but it happens to everyone. I am just going to enjoy the successes and let the losses go because there is absolutely nothing I can do to change it. Personally I think this team is missing something (like solid 3 point shooting) but who knows, they could get hot. I wasn't a huge David McCormack fan. He seemed weak to me, never dunked and made bad decisions...then he plays out of his mind in the tourney and has the game winning basket in the national championship. Same thing with Malik Newman. I wasn't overall that impressed with him until he took over in the tourney against Duke. So this team has some players that could play out of their mind. But personally I think this year is going to be a bit of a downer.

A good disposition replay. My simple wish is for KU to beat the kitties tonight..please keep the Senior night streak intact.
