This is a soft team. Other than KJ and Kevin, nobody really consistently finishes through contact. Dickenson gets his double double and it really is amazing, but how many times does the guy guarding him foul out? He avoids a great deal of contact and finishes shots with a soft touch rather going strong to the hoop.
Against WV we were pushed around a great deal. Folks were getting the ball away from where we needed to be.
Our three point shooting is streaky at best. It seems that Furphy (who has really been playing a lot better) can only manage to stay hot for a half. Same with Timberlake. Without that threat, the lane is clogged and as I said, we don't finish with contact very well.
Our D is practically non-existent or plays great only to falter in the last seconds.
Just my opinion from being at the game and seeing how we let a very small crowd (about 2/3 full) become a major factor as WV continually took it to us.
