Wishing my favorite KU goofball all the best!

His size is making it tough to get a match. The heart needs to be big enough to be able to pump the blood throughout his body.
Let's hope Mr. Pollard can get that heart!

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Wishing the best for the big guy.
Still have visuals in my head of him driving that old car (50s Cadillac convertible?) around LFK.
I follow him on Twitter and always respond with love and best wishes to his ongoing updates. (As do all the fans on there) He’s quite beloved, obviously.

Scott's family is reporting on X that a donor heart has been found and he is prepping for surgery. Hoping all goes well.

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
This is bigger than any road win. Very happy for the big guy. Hoping he didn't stress the new ticker too much watching the first half of the game today.
Long road ahead with a lot of potential potholes. Here's hoping that Scot navigates this minefield, and makes an excellent recovery. Praying for the big goofball. Would love to see him at a game next season.

Jayhawk nation won today! Scot was a contemporary of mine at KU. I met him more than once around campus and LFK. Biggest heart literally and figuratively and praying for smooth sailing for his recovery.
