It is very possible that by COB Wednesday there will be a 4-way tie for first atop the toughest Men's hoops conference in the nation!

NB: 12 of the 14 teams have won at least 10 games overall as of Tuesday. The only teams that have not are
WVU 6-10 overall
OKS 8-9 overall

Needless to say (and yes, I'm, going to anyway) both teams have had disappointing seasons to date.

Saturday at WVU will be interesting now that the Huggins era is over. Their interim head coach is 16 year WVU staff then assistant head coach Josh Eilert (born in Osborne, Kansas, he's a kittie from the little city who played at KSU from 2002-04.)

If WVU can win at OU Wednesday night after beating Texas last Saturday -- well, let's hope KANSAS thanks WVU for beating OUt on their way out of the Big 12, and then takes them stump jumpin', West (by God) Virginia hillbillies offa their burning couch and out to the woodshed for a beating!*

Gotta keep on sawing wood and
Load the Wagon!

*PS - I spent my high school and freshman and sophomore college years in western Maryland, "just a tad" over 70 miles due east of WVU. On the border, about a mile west of the north bound branch of the Potomac River, right before it bends back toward the east to eventually empty into the Chesapeake Bay. Drank a lot of beer across the river in "18 year old legal" West Virginia.

I got history, ya hear me?:P

Tonight will be interesting. Obviously we're all pulling for Houston to win so that we're back on top (albeit tied) but in control over our own destiny once again.

What's interesting is that there are currently 4 teams tied at 2-2. Depending on tonight's results there will be either 6 or 7 teams tied at 2-2, one or two games back. Quite a logjam.
