Kansas City was the last of the cupcake opponents. We're looking at top tier
competition the rest of the way. The Kansas strength of schedule ought to
start creeping ever higher as a result.
Yale has played only one opponent of note, a 15 point loss to Gonzaga. The
rest are a mixture of middle tier, bottom tier, and Division III opponents.
Still, the Bulldogs should provide decent competition.
RealTime, with its enormous home court advantage, is the most optimistic,
giving Kansas a 25 point margin. Dunkel is the least optimistic, picking
Kansas to win by just 1.5 points. Seriously, in The Phog? The average of
13 prognostications has Kansas winning by 14.5 points. I'd say we're overdue
for an above expectation performance.
It would appear that Sagarin isn't going to do college basketball unless
somebody like USA Today pays him to do it, so I'm going to use the holidays
to retool my code to work with somebody else's ratings. My goal is to have
good projections in time for Big 12 conference play.
Rock Chalk!

And your superlative comment is probably the understatement of the season, hairy!
Perhaps even of CY2023!
Keep 'em coming!
One more game -- at T-Mobile Center on December 30 against Wichita State -- to close out 2023 and then ON TO CONFERENCE PLAY!
How is everyone this December Saturday morning?
LFK is a cool 45° F and Phoggy as all get out in the morning mist, but a cuppa Joe, the fireplace on, the dogs and Mrs HE all make the day after this latest Jayhawk win a *good* one! Hope you and yours are having a wonderful weekend as well!
Just two more shopping days until ... you know... ──※ ·❆· ※──

This is HCBS home record vs. non-Conf
The losses are:
ASU, UK, Richmond, ORU, Nevada, SDSU.
Amazing that 4 of the six are not from traditional major conferences
