Regardless of what TV source is carrying the game, Dave Stewart and Jeff Gueldner do post-game coverage on ESPN+.

Watch if you can.

Between Gueldner’s critical commentary and the way they play off each other, whether it be game critique, looking ahead or looking back, they put on a great post-game.

Throw in the post game press conferences with Self and the players and it’s pretty much must see tv for KU Men’s basketball fans.

Highly recommended!

Good to know. I'll check it out. Are these available as part of the replays I hope?

By the way, if you are one of the apparently many who don’t remember/know much about Jeff …

At season end Jeff Gueldner was a starter for the eventual 1988 NCAA champion Jayhawks. After spending all of January 1988 trying to piece together a winning lineup after the December academic disqualification of C Marvin Branch and the career ending second knee injury for F Archie Marshall, by early February KU head coach Larry Brown had come up with a lineup of Danny Manning, Chris Piper and Milt Newton, led by SG Kevin Pritchard who took over as PG. That left one piece to complete the starting puzzle. Enter an unheralded sophomore guard from Charleston, Illinois.

From “Against All Odds - How Kansas Won the 1988 NCAA Championship” by Chuck Woodling:
————
Now, as the Jayhawks headed for Stillwater and Oklahoma State, a final change remained as Brown fine-tuned the Jayhawks. He started Jeff Gueldner in the backcourt in place of Lincoln Minor, who had been plagued by poor outside shooting and turnovers. Gueldner, a 6-5 sophomore, had no outstanding strengths but no real weaknesses either. And he played hard. All the time.

“I don’t think it’s an accident we started winning after (Gueldner) started playing,” Brown remarked later. …

“Gueldner finds a way to win, and that’s the bottom line.”
————

NCAA Champion

Excellent, critical basketball mind who is great at explaining the game to the audience, and doesn’t spare the feelings.

Survivor.

Jeff Gueldner

I need to read his book.

WITHOUT YOU

By Jeff Gueldner
A Story Of Thanks & Appreciation

“Without You is a story of how each one of us has benefited from the helping hand of others — and that we have an obligation to pay it forward. Jeff Gueldner has lived this mantra. An all-state high school basketball player, an NCAA national champion, a successful businessman, Gueldner’s sweet joy of victory has been balanced by the pain of cancer, divorce and business failure. He credits the many people who have been with him through thick and thin. You will learn about them, what makes them special, and how they inspired him and others. His parents, Gary and Judy Gueldner; hall of fame coaches Larry Brown, Roy Williams, and Bill Self; teammates and friends Mark Randall, Kevin Pritchard, Chris Piper and Danny Manning; and others from all walks of life who supported him. Life isn’t always easy. Jeff Gueldner hopes the lessons he shares in Without You will make it easier and cause everyone who reads it to give credit where credit is due.”

I wish. :(

They are not part of the replays, but are available separately as “Jayhawk Gameday Live” episodes, though I am not sure for how long. You will have to use the search function to find them.

Apparently not long at all.
I just finished checking ESPN+ the morning after and cannot find any replay Jayhawk Gameday Live programming there.
The game, yes.
JGDL post game, no.

I also checked YouTube. Lots of KU stuff there, but not JGDL.

If anyone finds it somewhere else, please let us know!

HE, the post game show is still there this AM under "Jayhawk Gameday Live". For those of you struggling finding the saved Jayhawk programs, I did learn a little secret.
1. Make sure you go to ESPN+. Go to the top of the page. Click on ESPN+ not ESPN. Or go to ESPN on your computer and at the top, click on ESPN+.
2. Click down to the line where all the different conferences are listed. Click on Big 12
3. The first two lines are very recent, or current programs.
4. Go to the 3/4th line which is the On Demand line.
5. Click to the right and look for any Jayhawks. The post game show is listed as "Jayhawk Gameday Live". That is the post game program.

Thanks, hoshi!

I had a break and went to search for it on my TV ESPN app instead of on my laptop.
A search on "JAYH" and scrolling down to "REPLAYS" and voila!, there it was! SO I came back to the RCB and voila, there was your post!

Teach me to always go to the TV for ESPN+ things, the computer seems to want to direct me to so much more than just ESPN+.

This is what I do in the ESPN app of my TV (hoshi's directions paraphrased)

In the ESPN app, click on the SEARCH icon (the magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner of your screen).

Enter JAYH and let the search engine work.*

First you will see "Live and Upcoming" events in the results column.

Go to the column and scroll down until you find "Replay"

Scroll down until you find Jayhawk Gameday Live and choose the second, longer version (the first, shorter one is the pregame show).

And if you scroll down and select "See All",
they have the postgame shows --
and game replays for ALL ESPN+ carried KU Athletics --
all the way back to the NC Central season opener.

Enjoy!

Thanks again, hoshi!

=======================

*The app will start searching with just JAY, but making it JAYH eliminates non-KU search responses.
