And here's a question for the RCB membership --
With our Jayhawks now having 6 real games -- three of them against some top flight competition -- under their belts, who do you think should be the #5 starter on the squad right now?
Here's my take --
The candidates are Jackson/Furphy/Timberlake/McDowell
McDowell has played best so far. Reward that.
Furphy has been intriguing, Jackson has shown promise but not consistency.
Timberlake has been a major disappointment to date.
Start Jamari, with Elmarko first off the bench, then Johnny.
Perhaps the opportunity to see the game before getting in it will help Elmarko, as it has helped other expected star Jayhawks in the past.
As this point Nick is last of the bunch, and will have to show on the court that he is deserving of any minutes over the other guys. It's not an impossible path for him to climb -- and I truly hope he does -- but that path looks to be getting steeper and steeper with each passing game.
