Lawrence RCB Coffee Klatch Schedule
Who: Lawrence area RCB members (anyone visiting is welcome!)
What: Monthly morning coffee get together to discuss all things KU, with focus on KU Men's Basketball
Where: McLain's Market 2412 Iowa St, Lawrence, KS 66046 unless noted otherwise
When: 9:00 AM first Saturday of the month

First regularly scheduled meeting will be December 2, 2023

OUT OF TOWNERS
Contact hoshi or HawkErrant (yours truly) in advance when you will be in Lawrence and we will try to arrange a get together.
Can be for a game night* or just as a sit down, "hail fellow well met" gathering.


* As we did Tuesday 2023-11-21 when USAF Jayhawk was in town. hoshi, wheaty, DocHawk, HE, Mrs HE and USAF J had a great time once we got together (but for the game itself )

Had a great time this morning with hoshi, DocHawk, Mrs HE and yours truly. Basking in the post UConn afterglow, lamenting the losses to Penn State — volleyball in G2 of the NCAA tournament and KUFB OC Andy Kotelnecki — and wondering which KU hoops youngster is going to grow up first (lots of agreement Furphy will be a difference maker, and Elmarko is good but not where he needs to be yet).

That same day Houston will be visiting The Phog for a 3:00 PM contest with our Jayhawks!

That same day, in the next to last regular season Saturday contest, KU will play at Baylor at 12:00 PM on ABC.

No matter what happens in the postseason, we should have plenty to talk about, from KU in the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments, who's returning, what recruits are coming in, and what potential transfers may be choosing KU..

The local bunch have been keeping it going in May and June, but July will just be a duet as far as I know today.

Saturday July 6 @9:00 AM. McLain's Market, 2412 Iowa St (on the eastern side of the street).

Just hoshi and yours truly this time, but hey!
Java and maybe a pastry, good (hopefully! ) KU chat and topics beyond.

Nice way to start what will hopefully be a pleasant day in the heart of Jayhawk Nation.

If anyone is going to be in Lawrence next Saturday (2024-12-07, Pearl Harbor Day), the next klatch is scheduled for then.

We've been meeting at McLain's, I'll post if that changes for next Saturday.
