KUAthletics.com: Additional Details for Late Night in the Phog – Streaming Information Announced
The hoops season begins with Late Night in The Phog this Friday, then kicks off in earnest with two exhibition games:
Oct. 29 (Sun.) at ILLINOIS (EXHIBITION), 5 p.m., Big Ten Network (proceeds to benefit the Maui Strong relief fund)
Nov. 1 (Wed.) FORT HAYS STATE (EXHIBITION), 7 p.m., Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
On a personal note —
Anna & I were traveling for 75% of September (Hawai’i, then Sedona & the Grand Canyon), and just returned late last Friday. Great time had by all.
That’s the “YES! HURRAY! ALL RIGHT!!!” side of the personal ledger.
On the “BOOOOO!!!!” side, on Monday morning I tested COVID-19 + and am currently halfway thru the 5 day Paxlovid antiviral regimen. Feeling better, but not yet 100% back. Thankfully Anna and her mom Lala (you may recall she lives with us) are feeling fine. Fingers crossed they continue so!
I have a lot of catching up to do here as lots has happened since September 1. Recruiting news (commitments, misses, offers), the announcement of the conference schedule, etc. My goal is to get back on track starting next week once I’ve recovered.
For now, enjoy the moment, and look forward in Anticipation!

HE, we both just recovered from Covid with my wife having a pretty rough time for the first day, Paxlovid really helped with the initial infection but we both had rebounds that were mild. Took 3 weeks total for both of us eventually test -ve.
Not going to make it to Late Night but have been in communication with our football and BB Aussies. Going to try to set up a Aussie BBQ time with them. Will let you know and see if we can get you some time with the down-unders.

Hoshi, meeting the members of our Aussie contingent would be great! Thank you!
Sorry to read of you and your wife’s contracting C-19. Glad you are both once again “upright and mobile”.
This is actually my second brush with the nasty. September 2022 we went to Orlando with Anna’s sister and brother-in-law. Flew home on a Saturday and sister tested positive. Sunday BiL tested +. Monday I tested +. Tuesday was Anna’s turn. Fortunately all our cases were mild, with Anna and I both being asymptomatic. All of us tested negative within a week after finishing the antiviral and no relapses.
Just glad my symptoms this time are still relatively minor in comparison to others I’ve known, and hoping that Anna and Lala don’t catch it. So far, so good!
And also keeping my fingers crossed for another speedy, no relapse recovery!
Thanks again for the opportunity! Hope it works out!

I haven’t seen a list per se.
JayhawkSlant notes that KU Commits
Flory Bidunga (5* C, Rivals #6) and
Labaron Philon (4* PG, Rivals #40) will be there.
As of Thursday evening the only known uncommitted recruit attending is Rakease Passmore (6-5 SF, 4*, Rivals #49).
.
