I'm here. At one point years ago, I felt like it would be better for me not to post anymore, so I stopped and just started reading.

Then I couldn't retrieve my password for a few years. Anyway, now I just lurk.

Cheers.

We'd love to have you post anytime the urge strikes you. (And you know you get that urge...come on, admit it!) B)

Thanks for checking in!

Anyone know anything regarding Doc Jennison? It's been years since I've seen him on the RCB.

Wow. Thanks for including me on that list of luminaries!

I had the old hoops board bookmarked on my browser, so when I would try to go there, it would give me an error message. For most of this season, I've been under the assumption that the website was discontinued. I'm happy to see that it was not.

Well, not quite yet, but we're getting there!

Welcome back, Iang. Glad to see you found us!

PS: I kind of liken the RCB to a warm cabin in the woods, and we're a bunch of old dogs who have called it home over the years. Occasionally we can't resist the urge to chase after a squirrel, then get lost several miles off the beaten path, but we keep following the scents judiciously until one day--VOILA!!!--we're home again!

Here's to more of the pack returning to the fold.

Additionally, I saw that there is a NYCHawk and NYCJayhawk registered. Where in NYC are you?

...it got me thinking of the familial connections. IIRC...

wannabe and Eye (brothers)
HawkScribe and Cherubdiesel (brothers)
NormJHawk and Kong (brothers and cousins with VaJHawk)
hoshi and dare (brothers-in-law)

We also had Keith Langford's mom and Nick Collison's uncle posting.

And how 'bout these "rivalries" from over the years
Senex/Kong (still current?)
NWG/Triphawq
tmhawk/eyehawk

Please please please...if anyone can add to these lists, that would be fantastic!!!

Vajay was another one. VJhawk took off in her RV. I've been thinking of her lately wondering where she is. She kept in touch for a while and as you said, disappeared. Hope she is still enjoying life!!!

I got a new computer at work (shh... don't tell my boss), and lost my internet bookmarks, so I just tried going to the main page. Don't know why I didn't think of that before... it's probably been there all along!

Nick Collison's uncle Rich.

I really enjoyed his posts. Immensely.

As I recall, he got into a back-and-forth on the board (a few years ago) and finally decided it just wasn't worth it. Too bad, on many levels.

I'm wondering how many folks are having difficulty or are uncomfortable with the new board format.

So you finally called me out. Been reading this board and enjoying it for years. Attempted to gain access before but did not have success. Tried again with the new board with SUCCESS. Have always enjoyed the ensightfull posts. Don't expect to post much but when I feel i have something positive to contribute. The posters in this board have set a very high standard but I'll do my best..

No difficulty so far, Doc. I took a while to get used to the new format but I have no real issues.
Work schedule has been really hectic lately, so no time to post, but I lurk frequently.
