Just watched the three 1-hour episodes in a row (oh those funky summer teacher hours ). They air officially on July 16, 23, & 30, but if you have Showtime, you can watch them on-demand.
I really enjoyed it. Of course there's footage and commentary about the '57 KU/UNC championship game as well as his return to Lawrence in 1998. For now thought, I don't want to give away more than that.

Thanks for the Showtime on demand tip Port!! Cal Bear wife and I binged the three episodes over guac and ceviche tostadas paired with a lovely Sonoma chardonnay. You know it's been a good day when the TV warns you it's about to power down due to inactivity for the last four hours. No way we were stopping the three episode series, it was so well done and informative.

SPOILER ALERT!!

Not a dry eye in the Bay-house at the end. Must see TV

Watched episode 1 with wife who enjoyed the show as it was an education for her.. My first TV basketball game was the 57 NC classic. Lived 50 miles south of Lawrence at the time. I was in the 4th grade.
Wish I could put names on all the commentators faces.
Saving the two episodes to enjoy 1 at a time.

Can't wait to see it. I'm flying home from the West Coast on Thursday and now I know how I'll be spending my time.
Thanks so far for everyone not putting out any spoilers.
As time goes on and discussion ensues, please include a spoiler alert on your post. Maybe we should start a separate thead for anything WITH spoilers in it??? Just a thought.
Wilt absolutely deserves more credit today than he gets. All these other guys who have had 50+ point games all had some threes in the mix. Wilt dominates the scoring records, and was 0-0 from 3 for his career.
