247Sports: College basketball transfer portal rankings - Hunter Dickinson helps Kansas shoot to No. 1 spot in update

KANSAS is the No. 1 class in 247Sports' updated transfer portal rankings (to go with its consensus Top 10 HS recruiting class).

But the going will be tough next year. The Big 12, projecting to once again be the best conference in D1, has 3 of the Top 5 transfer classes and 5 of the Top 10.

1. KANSAS
4 transfers, two scholarships open (1 if McCullar returns)
Hunter Dickinson, #1 Michigan center, the No. 1 player in the portal.
Nick Timberlake, #30 Towson guard great outside shooter.
Arterio Morris, #37 Texas guard, great defender and shot 46% (11 of 24) from 3 from Feb 1 on last season.
Parker Braun, NR UC-Santa Clara, at 4/5 a much needed depth piece.
(KU still looking for a wing shooter for last ride? Or a wing and Big if Kevin is gone?)


2. WEST VIRGINIA
5 transfers for Huggy Bear, including one of the top scorers, top centers and top point guards in the portal.
Jesse Edwards, #4 Syracuse C: impact at both ends (Tre Mitchell can focus at the 4).
