"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
There is more talk that Christian’s older brother Parker coming to KU may be in the works.
No idea if it’s as a scholarship player, or as a walk on with NIL, or a walk-on with family covering the tab à la Langford-Wesley.
Parker is 15 months older than CB and several inches taller. He’s 6-10/215 and has started at forward for UC Santa Clara the past two seasons after starting his college career at the Columbia school.
ESPN: Parker Braun stats
He’s not going to wow anybody, but he might be an okay bench backup. If he’s walking on it seems like a no brainer to me. I would hope KU could do better if there is a scholarship involved, even if it is for someone who would be accepting of playing behind Dickinson.
Again, all conjecture on my part. Just writing about what I’m reading,

More on Parker ...
JayhawkSlant's Shay Wildeboor today - "From what I’ve been told, Coach Self would like to add two more scholarship players and one “big/tall” walk-on. I’m not saying this will happen for certain, but Parker Braun could be that ("big/tall" walk-on) player. I think the chances of Braun ending his career (at KU) are quite realistic."
I added the (text) for clarity, otherwise the above is verbatim Shay.
Notice that "...add two more scholarship players..." reads like that final 12th ride for this year is being held in pocket -- either for Kevin returning, or perhaps as taking 2 of the 3 scholarship hits this season if Kevin opts not to return. At least that is how I read it.
