There have been 16 men's basketball head coaches to win multiple NCAA Tournament titles since the first edition was played in 1939.
(Yes, I am including Pitino even though his Louisville title was vacated by the NCAA).

Today Hall of Fame coach Denny Crum, 86, passed away.
