Clearly we have 2 starting spots locked down. Dajuan at PG and Hunter Dickinson at center. It seems to me the other three spots are completely up for grabs. Although I would sure be willing to bet that Arterio Morris cracks the SL in a dual PG attack. Morris and Dajuan are substantially different players. The only argument against starting Morris is that you will want him on the floor every minute that Dajuan is resting. It would seem given what we know now that Elmarko Jackson, KJ Adams would most likely be the other starters. KJ will have a new role on next years team since he will likely play zero or few minutes as the big. I would surely hope that Udeh will come along enough to spell Hunter when he is resting taking up all the mintes at 5 along with some minutes for Zuby there as well. But if we land Mgbako all bets are off for KJ. He will surely compete for a starting position and will clearly get significant minutes. But Mcbako offers a more well rounded game at the 4 slot although KJ has some advantages as well. If we stand pat with the current roster here is my projected starting 5:

Dajuan Harris
Arterio Morris
Elmarko Jackson
KJ Adams
Hunter Dickinson

off the bench will be Timberlake, Udeh and someone who emerges which could be Cuffe, or a freshman.

If we land Mcbako, I put him in as a starter and KJ off the bench with significant minutes. Adding Mcbako makes KU very likely a NC favorite.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!

Cuffe entered the Transfer Portal yesterday.

¡Yo quiero Mackenzie Mgbako mucho!

Si la conseguimos, llamalo Mackenzie Mgbako "Candy!"

And if he turns out to one bad mothe... "Hush your mouth"... I'm just talking about Mac...

Call him "Hard Candy"!
