We were fortunate so many Wildcats fouled out but our lousy free throw shooting nearly lost it for us. Wayne had the game of his career. We need him to step up like that more often.

First glad they beat UK, but what was going on at the FT line? These guys left so many pts at the charity strip

If we hit a higher % of free throws, we win in regulation and with only 2 (rather than the 4 that did) UK players fouling out. I think there'd be a less of that "we're very fortunate" feeling.

I want KU to win. I appreciate that I might have taken an extremely negative position and apologize to the board. However, I do not appreciate being specifically called out, rather publicly on a chat board. I would kindly ask, if you don't like my post or take issue with them, to take the conversation offline.

As for my posts, we all know the saying about opinions. I think since 2013, this program has not performed up to expectations in the postseason and the same issues continue to plague this team. If it is not working, sometimes adversity or drastic failure in the short term , benefits the team and program long term. Beating a good UK team might be the bounce this team needs, or it might be a temporary concealer of this team's on court shortcomings.

Finally, I will always be brutally honest about the performance of this team on the court in my opininn, my tuition dollars and alumni donations allow me that. But I will continue to show respect to the players, coaches and fellow RCBers as representatives of our Alma Mater or schools we love, a courtesy I unfortunately do not feel was extended to me.

It is one thing to feel disappointed when our BELOVED team does not play like we know it can. And another wishing it to "flame out" or love the rest of the games. While I get scared of a hot team, i.e. Oklahoma, W Virginia, I NEVER bet against us winning. While this board is open to ALL opinions, and are subject to debate, let's remember we all love this team and do not appreciate such negative thoughts.

So what you are really saying is that you possibly got caught up in the moment, made some unpleasant comments regarding the team during an emotional moment (yet, what courtesy were they extended on your behalf other than a complete dismissal of the remainder of the season?) on a "public" board, yet you don't want others who might have missed or overlooked your comments to become aware of them and then to possibly comment on them?

Bay look forward to continuing our tradition this March..Mom, WSG, Konza, HE, Senex, Dr Jayhawker, Siverling, Hawknmo, Kong, Azhawk, RobS, Illhawk and all fellow RCbers thanks for making this board a place to share our love for all things KU.... As Bay so deftly posts, I am intensely passionate about KU hoops and I'd never wish KU to lose, but my emotions got the better of me and I am sorry. RCJHGKU!!!
