Remembering the "killer bee's."

I was a bit anxious for several minutes of the Howard game. The Bison were scrappy and fearless, giving the 'Hawks all they could handle for an uncomfortable amount of time. Flashback to the days of yore when the Killer Bee's swarmed so effectively that the Kansas Senate suggested decreeing the 'Hawks face no more teams in the tournament which began with a "B






































As the Bison gave the 'Hawks all they could handle for several minutes, I flashed back to days of yore when the "Killer Bee's" were so effective that the Kansas Senate strongly suggested no more teams beginning with B should play KU in the NCAA tournament!

But, thanks to Grady and Jalen scoring in double figures and an effective defense, (finally) KU prevailed in a manner fitting a No. 1 seed.

Stats geniuses: Has KU won whenever Grady and Jalen both score well?

We drove to the Bucknell game in Oklahoma City. Such a long trip, such a bad outcome. And we had to drive to Tulsa after the game. Had to turn talk radio off. I had enough. But that's all history. Rock Chalk!
