It’s now March Madness time. Hopefully the Hawks got all their lousy performances out of their systems. This team, many you have said, has no margin for error.
They don’t have off the chart talent or enough consistent depth off the bench. So when they come out flat, Harris and Dick don’t show up, Wilson is the only option.
Texas, which has a lot of talent as much as it pains me to say that and it really pains me to sau anything nice about the f€|¥|¥ short horns, followed that blue print last two times they matched up.
Kansas is 27-7, but 5 of their losses are by 12 points are more, and it is the same formula in those 5 loses, and even the lose at Baylor.
Self has done a great job getting the max out of this team.
But any deep run over the next 3 weeks will depend on their health, intensity/energy and honestly the matchups as the tourney is really a crapshoot after opening round.
All this being said, the Kansas fan in me will be totally bummed if they don’t make a deep run.
