For some reason I can't get the game and am forced to listen to it on radio. I swear, Brian Hanni, besides his nasal impairment, is either on speed or his pants are on fire. Please, please, get us someone who sounds professional. It is painful to be subjected to him, for me, at least! (And I've been suffering from his pitiful performance for years.) HELP!

I listen to Brian and Greg every time (Brian and David for football). I have no issues listening to the “homers” as opposed to so many who misrepresent our history and heritage, as they know far more than the weekend crew assigned to a game. Brian also hosts Hawk Talk, if you care to listen to our coaches.
Her is to six more victorious broadcast, this season!

My struggle is having listened to Bob Davis all those years, Hanni is just...different. I personally think his excitement and "spur of the moment" exclamations come across as forced (to me anyway). That said, I'd love to hear the 2022 National Championship game with Hanni et al. In the past they would broadcast multiple versions of the game, one with the main announcers, and two more with the "Homer" announcers. They didn't do that last year.

I think it's just a matter of getting used to him. That said, I typically don't listen to him. The various (and sometimes significant) lags introduced by the Internet make it vary challenging to sync the radio calls with the TV image, so I don't try. If I had to listen to Bill Walton again I'd make the effort. I tried listening to Chiefs Radio with Mitch Holthus on SiriusXM in place of the TV announcers, but the same lag issue made that not worth the effort.
