Oh, yeah, USAF, most definitely.
Really pretty amazing to follow.
I know CorpusJayhawk has a SoS analysis (current and historical) that delves into KU's SoS. Something to be quite proud of, to play such a hard schedule year in and year out and still end up with the winningest program in the last 20 years. Maybe he can repost it?

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
Obviously SOS and Quad 1 wins are intertwined. Nevertheless, if you play in the Big 12 this year, you played a tough schdedule.
Looking at Sagarin, the WORST team in the Big 12 (OU) is ranked #51 in the country. Compare that to the ACC (9 of 14 teams ranked 52 or higher), SEC (7 of 14), Big 10 (4 or 14 teams), Big East (5 of 11 teams), or Pac 10 (8 of 12 teams...eat it Bill Walton you moron).
And to USAF's point the worst SOS in the Big 12 goes to Tech at #25. Meanwhile the Big 12 holds 7 of the top 10 SOS's in the country and the entire top 5.
Top 10 SOS (Sagarin)
1.) Kansas
2.) OU
3.) ISU
4.) Baylor
5.) WVU
6.) Michigan State
7.) OSU
8.) Nebraska
9.) Wisconsin
10.) Texas
In Sagarin's top 10 overall you've got Houston at #1 oveall but with #94 SOS and Gonzaga at #6 with a #73 SOS which always drive me crazy since their conference has half of the teams ranked over 100 overall.

Thanks Replay.
Oddly enough, I just checked the Big 12 tourney schedule and found myself looking at the bracket repeatedly thinking, "wow! THAT's going to be a good game!" All 9 games (scheduled and potential matchups) have great potential to be barn burners.
