Should I say "I told you so?"

During the losing streak this year, then after getting killed by ISU, many were saying this team was done. Maybe not even able to win 20 games. I don't know who all said it but I know I said we shouldn't get too upset and that I thought they'd be OK. Sure enough, they were. I think after all these years we'd learn to trust Self. My wife and I were just talking about the seasons Kentucky, UNC and Duke are having. When was the last time we had one like they are having? I guess Kentucky isn't too bad but still. We are so blessed with what we have! I hope we all remember that. It's really hard to sometimes when we get so invested in a team.

I'm thankful for Self and the teams he puts together. I'm also thankful for all the contributors to this board. I just wanted us to reflect and take a step back and know that sometimes when things look bad, they aren't actually as bad as they look. Rock Chalk! Let's finish this out!!!

We need look no further than UNC. 4/5 returning starters from a NC final team, and they just got their first Quad 1 win yesterday (whatever a Quad 1 win is ??).

They’ll get in the tourney because they’re UNC, but that NEVER would have happened with Self at the helm.

We were so fortunate to replace Williams with Self, and are so spoiled at what both of those coaches produced, despite some annual frustration from Self’s “System” that includes some useful losses/blowouts early in the season.

"Quadrant one wins are those home games vs. teams RPI ranked 1-30, neutral games vs. 1-50, and away games vs. 1–75. For example, a home win against a top 30 team would qualify as a quadrant one victory."
