Dunkel took honors for best prognostications in Round 14 with a total error of just 35 points. Massey
was a distant second with a total error of 50 points. The BPI pulled up the rear with a total error of
65.8 points. Vegas retains the season lead with an average error of 8.9 points per game, while Dunkel
is still worst with an average error of 10.4 points per game.
Real Time took honors for best prognostications in Round 15 with a total error of 41 points. That's
Real Time's fourth outright win on top of two other shared wins. Well, even a broken clock is
correct twice a day. Dunkel was worst with a total error of 75.5 points. Vegas retains the season
lead with an average error of 9.0 points per game, while Dunkel is pulling up the rear at 10.7 points
per game.
Only one road win was projected for Round 15, but two happened, with Texas Tech winning in Norman
in addition to the projected Kansas win in Fort Worth. Only one road win is projected for Round 16,
with TCU favored in Lubbock. We're still right on the long-term road win rate of one in three games.

I don't see how Iowa St is mathematically eliminated...they are three games down with three to play. It would take a major collapse for KU and UT for them to catch up but it is still mathematically possible for to capture a tie.

My guess is because KU and Tx play each other they can't both lose that game.

Correct. ISU would have to win out and everyone else would have to go 0-3. But with KU facing Texas in the finale, somebody's going to add a W by default, so ISU can't get there.
I suppose if the game were some kind of double forefiet....both teams caught in some kind of horrible violation, or a riot breaks out or something. Not very likely.
