Getting ahead of myself here, but right now it's possible that we'd clinch the title after the Tech game next Tuesday. This assumes that Baylor beats Texas on Saturday. If that happens, we clinch at least a share by beating Tech in AFH next week. Nevertheless, if Texas beats TCU in the same round, it's possible that they could still get a share by beating KU in the season finale.

So how does this play out in regard to cutting down nets? I would assume that if it works out and we clinch on Tuesday, we celebrate at home, cut down the nets, etc.

If, however, Texas beats us in Austin then they'd do a net cutting, right? Or would it make sense for KU to somehow share in the celebration? I can't see that happening, but it also seems like Self isn't the kind of guy to celebrate early if we clinch on Tuesday.

I'm sure this scenario has happened in the past. Any recollection of how it worked out? Best scenario would be to win outright early and then blow out Texas in Austin in front of a dozen fans in an otherwise meaningless game. Then again, it would also be pretty sweet dashing their hopes in front of their home crowd looking to claim a share of the title.

I noticed that KU has played 10 away games while Texas has played 8 road games to date. We are 7/3 away while Texas is 4/4. We both have only lost one game at home.
